61 Rag Top

A client from the Virgin Islands found this original 61 rag top in the U.S., purchased it and had it shipped to our Ottawa, Illinois facility for a full restoration.

This Type 3 is being added into our 2016 Restoration schedule as well as the 60 Rag Top shown below.

Klassic Fab replacement floor pans
being installed. Old rusted ones cut out new ones fit, trimmed and welded in.

Body panels are already in the system and are being media blasted, rust repaired and body work done.

Hood and deck lid are finished and in primer waiting block sanding, fenders are out of media blasting, thru rust repair and are in the body shop for body work.

Doors are completely disassembled and waiting media blast.

CHASSIS will be disassembled the rest of the way, and sent back to the media blast booth.

Next is replacing both pan half's, then rebuild and paint.

64 Sunroof

In for rust repair... heater channels, package tray, fender wells, etc.   Here she is on one of our open car haulers, ready for transport to our Ottawa, IL facility.

Ready to have the door opening supports attached and the body shell removed. Then off to the Media blast center and the Metal Shop where they will replace the heater channels and any other rusted metal.

In for a pan off refurbish and paint job

We are also building a 110Hp motor for the customer

Body disassembled and chassis removed.

Ready to be moved to the media booth

Body panels ready also and will start the body work and be sprayed with primer, then on to block sanding.

Chassis will be disassembled the rest of the way, cleaned, media blasted, primer applied, and receive a coat of black chassis paint.

66 Sedan for a customer in the St Louis area.  

This Bug will receive a complete restoration with a few custom touches including our custom headliner option. Body shell and panels are out of the Media blast booth and are headed to metal working.

 Custom Oval Bug out of Chicago

Picture soon. In for a complete restoration. Body shell and panels have been media blasted and we are starting the rust repair. This bug is one of many that will receive our signature custom headliner option.

66 Bus out of Wisconsin

 In for metal repair, body and paint.

  This 66 is moving thru it's restoration. This picture was when it was having the paint stripped off.  It then went to the media blast center for the final paint removal.

   Then she will be placed on the rotisserie so the bottom can be done.

   Now undergoing rust repair on the body shell.

   Rust repair is done on the body components along with the body work and they are in primer ready to start the block sand sequence.

Double cab out of Wisconsin is in the process of a full restoration.

Rust repair has started on the Body shell.  The body components have already had the rust repair completed and have had the body work done and are in primer ready to start the block sanding sequence.
